I have been astounded by your children and their work ethics. Children are working so well together, and I’m seeing huge growth- especially in math. We just tested the entire first grade on a math test to see what students needed to get more challenging math instruction. 25 of our classroom passed the test with flying colors, which means I get to teach the entire class the challenging math curriculum. It’s been really fun.
I also need to brag about your child’s behavior in the lunchroom. There have been problems with the first grade being loud and not making great choices in the lunchroom. Because of this, the first graders now must sit in assigned seats…. Except our class! Please celebrate with your child. Their behavior is so wonderful, that Mrs. Vasquez didn’t feel it was fair for our class to have to sit in a seating chart. I’m so proud of them!
