This was a pretty crazy week. I was sick over the weekend and missed school Monday and Tuesday. I’m getting back into responding to e-mails and getting back to parents. Thanks for your patience in it all. I’m still needing a lot of permission forms and 8$ for about half the class for the field trip. If you could get those signed and money brought in by Monday, that would be fantastic.
Reminders
parent input forms: Will be in your child’s Thursday folder. Please fill them out and return by Monday April 16.
LETTER: I am sending home a letter (tomorrow) for you to write a special end of the year note to your kid. Please fill it out and return to me no later than Monday May 14. I will add it to their first-grade memory books.
NO SCHOOL: Tomorrow Friday April 13.
MATH IXL: I showed students how to do Math IXL practice. Children can login and do math practice anywhere using their school login information. This can be a great activity for you to have your child do especially in the summer, to keep their math skills fresh! They can practice any skill at any grade level! When you sign the form, please also send in cash or check (Made out to Tavelli). It will be a full day field trip. I still need chaperones. If you’re interested in chaperoning, email me ([email protected]).
SUMMER BIRTHDAYS: Every child that has a birthday over the summer will celebrate their summer birthday. You are welcome to send a little store-bought snack on your child’s summer birthday day, or we will do extra recess to celebrate. Here is when we will be celebrating summer birthdays:
