Gosh, it’s been so much fun teaching your child. We had a wonderful week here! The principal came into our classroom a couple of times this week with the assistant superintendent. Both were very impressed with the learning going on in our classroom. Not only the learning, but they said the children were some of the most well behaved and kind children. They were impressed with the enthusiasm the kids had towards reading, writing, etc. and couldn’t believe the thinking and questioning going on between their peers. I’m blown away by your child. You should be so proud. Give your kid a big hug today. Because no matter how good or bad our days go here, I always go home thankful for the opportunity I get to teach your kid!

FIELD TRIP: We are taking a field trip to the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery on Monday November 28, 2016. Field trip forms are going home today and need to be signed and returned. We were generously given a grant from the Fort Collins Bohemian foundation that will cover your child’s bus fees and entrance fee into the museum. So, we are only needing children to returned signed field trip forms. We will leave at 9:30 that morning and arrive back in time for lunch at 12:15. I can take 5 parent chaperones. If you want to chaperone, please check the box on your child’s field trip form or e-mail me ([email protected]). I am so excited to go on this trip with your kids!
BOOK ORDER: The book order for November is going home today. If you are wanting to order any gifts for your child for the holiday season, get them in this November. If you order in December, the books won’t arrive in time. It will be due Friday November 18.
You can order through my website: mssandberg.weebly.com.
COLD WEATHER: Colder weather is on it’s way! Please write your child’s name inside of their winter coats and instruct them to store their hats and gloves inside their coat pockets for safe-keeping. It is your child’s responsibility to keep track of their coats, boots, hats, and gloves this winter (I will do my very best to help out as well).
Thanks for sharing your wonderful child with me!
Warmly,
Ms. Sandberg
