This week has been our Trimester Review in both Reading and Math. We have been reviewing vowel sounds and patterns and have been working on Thanksgiving activities in Reading. In Math, we have been reviewing number sense, addition, subtraction and time It has been a great week of review and Thanksgiving fun!
Please remember that we have school Monday and Tuesday ONLY of next week! I know that many of you are planning a trip to visit family and friends and I hope that you enjoy yourselves! Please call the office and send me an e-mail in advance if you know that your child will be missing school Monday and Tuesday of next week. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I am so thankful to have such a wonderful group of smart, kind, and fun learners this year as well as a class full of caring, considerate parents!

HOMEWORK FOLDERS: No homework will be given next week! I will send home some Thanksgiving books for your child to keep as a reward for working so hard this past trimester!
COLD WEATHER: Cold weather is on the way! Please write your child’s name inside their coats and instruct them to store their hats and gloves in their coat pockets for. It is your child’s responsibility to keep track of their winter gear (I will do my very best to help out as well).
BOOK ORDER: The book order went home last week. If you are wanting to order any gifts for your child for the holiday season, get them in this November. If you do order books that are a gift, e-mail me, and I can get it to you without your child knowing! It is due Tuesday November 21. You can order through my website: mssandberg.weebly.com.
MOBY MAX: If you’re looking for a great online resource to help your child with any sort of subject area, Moby Max is a resource our school pays for, for your child. They can do virtually any subject area, and the modules talk and work them through things. If you’re looking to give your child a bit of a challenge, feel free to have your child utilize this great tool any time!
